Welcome to the world of Arvandor. A place where many wolves have ended up. Some are vagabonds, some power-hungry, some are foolish and others wise. They've all ended up here at the same moment of time, breathing the same crisp air. A place where personalities clash and mesh, where hearts are broken and connections are made, where you can almost hear the darkness and feel the passions. Where will you fit in? Or do you even dare to commence this life altering adventure?

The air became noticeably cooler as the pair traveled north towards the Kalrava territory, and Vaeril enjoyed it. Although the young brute could survive in both cool and warm climate zones, due to his mother being tundra and father being novac, he greatly enjoyed the cooler weather and very much like his mother, loved the snow above all else. Vae didn’t know where exactly he was leading them and why, but he had a gut feeling that there was something up ahead. “So Venn, after we find our parents, that is, if we do, where do you want to go? Personally, I wouldn’t mind joining a pack and settling in for a while, but then again, I really wouldn’t mind going around as a rogue a bit more either.”

Soon after, the sound of rushing water reached his blue rimmed auds and his throat suddenly felt parched. “What do you say we stop for a drink and maybe catch a fish or two?” Without waiting for an answer, Vaeril changed course and headed directly towards the sound. The river was rather wide at the point they were at and looking north, Vaeril could see that it seemed to fork into two different directions. As he drew closer, the scent of another wolf entered his nose and the brute paused for a second. It’s unfamiliar and yet… familiar. It smells like an Undomiel. Could it be one of Arwen’s elder pups?

A pair of golden hues turned to Venali’s gray and white form and met her purple eyes, “The land up ahead is claimed by an Undomiel, I don’t know them though… or their sentiments towards your family.” Should I howl our arrival just to be safe? Not wanting to take any chances and being the center of a bloody confrontation, Vaeril announced their arrival onto the territory, "I Vaeril Oronra along with my friend Venali Almarean are not on these lands as tresspassers, but are here to potentially settle down in a place to call home with a pack to call family." Taking one last look around, the valasse then turned his attention towards the clean waters and trotted up to the bank. Just as his tongue touched the cool water and began to lap it up, something slick brushed up against it and less than a second later a face emerged directly under his. Vaeril found his tongue pressed up against a the slick fur of a river otter, his eyes wide with incredulity and pure shock as he seemed to leap back several feet shouting, “What the hell is that?!”

“Well excuuuse me mister, but you’re the one who put your nasty slimy tongue all over my face!” The light voice of the young otter chimed through the reeds as the small creature emerged from the water and weaved her towards the large wolf. A small seemed to stretch across her face as her beady black eyes squinted, analyzing the blue and white brute. Oh geeze he is hot, just my type. “My name is Vyra by the way, what’s yours?” The russet and cream creature approached the brute as if he was not a rung or two above him on the food chain. When her ebony eyes fell upon the second wolf, the otter gasped and immediately dove behind Vaeril’s hind legs, using his bushy tail for cover. “Hide me from the beast!” She squealed before she peeked around him.

Vaeril eyed the small weasel like animal that approached him nonchalantly and introduced herself to the predator. “Uhm, I’m Vaeril and this is my friend Venn,” he explained awkwardly, watching with disbelieving golden hues at the otter concealed herself upon acknowledging the second wolf. His eyes traveled back to Vae and his head tilted slightly, his expression reading ‘what the hell is happening?’ Returning his attention to the young otter hiding behind him, Vaeril turned around to face her and lowered his head to her level. “Just what are you doing? Shouldn’t you be running and hiding in that river somewhere? You know I could just eat you now?” Although Vae did suggest it, he probably couldn’t bring himself to hurt Vyra. She is kinda cute… For an otter I mean.

The otter seemed to blush as the brute came face to face with her and as the piercing golden hues met with her glossy black ones. “Aww, that’s so sweet of you! Do I really look that delectable?” It seemed as if the otter took the brutes threatening suggestion as a compliment. “I know me and you will be great together!” Daringly, the otter's front webbed paws came down on his snout as her thin little tongue licked his face. “Oh yea! You mentioned something about fish huh? Are you hungry my dear? I can catch you some fish!” Without waiting for a response, the creature darted off towards the river and disappeared for a few minutes.

“Dear?” Vae forced an awkward smile on his face as he looked to Venn for help. “Well she’s… charming?”

“You better not be checking her out because your eyes are meant for me and me only hun!” Vyra returned with a fish and placed it in front of the brute, eyes expectant. Her eyes noticed how the wolf’s tail swayed and so she attempted to wag her long slick tail in the same manner. “Eat up my love! I don’t know where we’re going next, but you better fill up now or we’ll have to stop again!”

“Oh... so your... coming with us?” Vaeril asked awkwardly.

“Of course I am silly! You think I’m going to let you travel all alone with another female? No way!” With that said, the otter once again made her way towards Vaeril’s backside before using her sharp claws to climb her way up his tail and onto his back.

Venali left out a soft sigh, it was not a sigh of frustration, nor was it one of peace, it was just a sigh. The climate had become colder which was something Venali liked, unlike Vaeril she couldn’t go anywhere near the hotter lands for both her parents where cold breed dwellers, while only one of his was, however she knew she had little to worry about for Vaeril was as fond of hot climates as she was. Although she never depended on anyone, the thought of her best friend not being with her pained her, she’d grown up with Vaeril, he understood her better than anyone and she felt he was the only person she could truly be herself around. Although she’d never admit it, he was very important to her.

When Vae’s voice rang through her gray rims Venn smiled and nodded in agreement. “It’s been a while since we’ve been in a pack, settling down for a while might be nice.” She admit coolly. The last time she’d been in a pack was when her father still ruled over Mithril, then her family was chased out and then Mithril was no more. Her family traveled the longer territories together in their own little pack. It consist of her parents, siblings, Vel and Vaeril. The idea of actually settling in a home was actually attractive to the young femora, however following the orders of someone else was not. Her nose wrinkled slightly, there was only a few she would take orders from without complain.

The sound of rushing water could be heard and obviously Vaeril heard it to for he asked her if they should stop for a drink and food. She didn’t need to answer him for he changed directions and headed towards the sound of the rushing water. It did not take them long to reach the long body of water, it was a river and a rather large one at that. Venn, like Vae felt suddenly parched, and fairly hungry. Her violet orbs watched Vae for a moment before she dipped her paws into the water and walked through the river a few good paces away from Vaeril. Closing her orbs she dipped her head down and lapped up some water into her mouth before she went on to grooming herself in the river, using the cool waters to help wash her fur out. Mud, leaves, sticks and other foreign objects where removed from her fur with ease, she rather liked that she had a semi-thin coat.

Once clean, her orbs turned back to Vae’s golden hues as he spoke to her about the lands up ahead being claimed by Undomiel blood. Her ear twitched slightly as she sniffed the air ever so slightly. So it was, judging from the scent it was one of the elder pups, however it was one she’d never met. Maybe it was a good thing or a bad thing, she did not know. “I do not know the scent.” She admit to Vae after he said he didn’t know them either or their sentiment with her family.

Shaking her fur out the white and gray femora patted over towards her childhood friend as he dipped his head down to take a drink only to jump back in a start when a brown furry creature popped out of the waters. Venali too took a few steps back and blinked at the odd creature, it was a river otter. Venn was utterly confused as the river otter introduced itself only to hide before Vaeril from herself. Venn’s eye twitched and this sinking feeling was growing in the pit of her stomach, a sinking feeling telling her she was not going to like this creature one bit.

When Vae’s orbs met hers again, she could tell he was just as confused as she was, except now her orbs where narrowed in on Vae’s golden hues, a look that told him ‘get rid of it.’. However instead of doing so, Vae went and introduced himself and Venn to the creature that was quickly getting on Venn’s nerves. Then a smug look crossed her face as Vae went on to tell the otter that she could end up their dinner, unfortunately the otter took it totally the wrong way and Venn had to do her best to suppress a growl. Then the otter disappeared back into the river to get them some food, her nose twitched slightly as Vae said she was charming. “As charming as a cobra.” She said with a dull expression. “I’m going to see if I can find something else to eat.” She said patting away, the excuse was slightly lame but the best she could muster at the moment to get away from the otter and her best friend whom she also was slightly angered with for not either eating or getting rid of the otter.

Sighing the white femora with gray speckles started to sniff the ground searching for some food, then the smell of something caught her nose. Fox, arctic fox. Her head lifted slightly and her ears flicked forward listening in on white creature’s movements as it’s paw steps where heard not too far off, obviously from the sound it was hunting. Then a loud crunch was heard and Venn jumped up and out of her hiding place and pounced upon the white arctic fox, mouth open and jowls ready to snap it’s bones, this poor fox had become her next meal, or so she thought anyways.

“Eeep~!” The white fox yipped jumping out of the way from Venn’s jowls and leaped upon her head and clawed her muzzle before scampering down the large wolf’s back and back onto the ground, unfortunately while in it's desperate attempt to escape the fox got tangled in stray roots sticking out oddly from the ground. She whimpered at the pain it caused her paw as she could not pull it free from the vines but only managed to tangle herself worse.

Shaking her head Venn turned around and snarled at the fox before stopping as she stared into the fox’s violet orbs, wide with fear, the color matched her own. Venn suddenly felt something inside her and the tundra mixed femora lied down on her belly staring at the arctic fox. “It’s okay, I’m not going to eat you.” the purple eyed femora said to the equally purple eyed vixen.

The vixen’s purple eyes relaxed before looking at her suspiciously. “How do I know you are not here to trick me, wolf?” She said, but for some reason she felt she could trust this wolf, their eyes matched and the look in the other’s eyes told her she could be trusted. “I’m Yara.” The vixen told the white and gray femora as she tried to wiggle out of the vines.

Venn laughed softly and stood, picking the fox up by the scruff she pulled her out of the rooty vines and put her down at her paws. “I’m Venali. Venali Almarean.” She told the young fox after she’d introduced herself as Yara. “Where are you from?” She asked the fox tilting her head slightly, forgetting temporarily about her anger, hunger and her best friend.

“I was born onto a land, my mother had traveled to, to find her friend, Icari Enardra. But in attempts to find her my mom found my father. Me and my siblings where born onto the land, it crashed into this land, and I traveled farther north to these lands, then I met you.” The young arctic fox explained to the wolf as she circled around her sniffing her slightly.

“Icari?” Venali seemed shocked to hear the name, as she watched the young arctic fox. “My mother’s name is Icari,” She told the young fox, ‘Her land crashed into this land? That must have been what caused the earthquake…’ She thought as her purple orbs met with Yara’s, a knowing look in their orbs as Venali smiled ever so slightly. “Why don’t you come with me and my friend?” Venn asked the young fox, for some reason she want to get to know this fox more.

Tyranea's eyes slowly opened as her body began to register the pain. 'Death... Wasn't death supposed to be painless?' It wasn't horrible pain, only that of a bruised and battered body. Her eyes were completely open by now and she began to take in the world in front of her. The sounds of a river had just begun to reach her ears and the coolness of the atmosphere around her was multiplied by her drenched pelt.

That’s right… The river…. Her brother… The Darkness…. It was slowly coming back to her. That pack had followed them so far, until they were trapped. They couldn’t cross the river, it was moving too fast. They weren’t given the choice though. The earth shook and the ground gave way beneath their feet.

He made it… She saw him, her brother, he was on dry land. Where, she did not know, but he lived. Maybe she could find him again someday. First though she had to figure out where she was at. She slowly forced herself to her feet, flinching every time her battered body was jarred. It was cold, the water made it much colder then it should have been and she felt it to her core. Shivering she sniffed the air and then let out a soft almost inaudible growl.

There were other wolves here. She was most likely in another’s territory. Her ears laid back as she tried to determine the direction they are in, so she could go in the opposite direction. Her last encounter with unknown wolves had been rather unpleasant and she did not want to repeat it. Not to mention that this was a strange land. It was completely unfamiliar, the look, the smell, the sound. How far had the river carried her? How had she survived?

She was about to start walking away when Ty once more caught the smell of the foreign wolves. Quickly she pressed herself to the ground as her ears laid back. They were closer then she had thought. Had they caught her scent? Had they heard her heartbeat? It was beating so fast that if they had not surely they would now. She wanted to flee but feared pursuit. She was in no condition to run for her life again, anyway. She would get no where beforevbeing caught. Whatever punishment that would await her might be harsher because she fled instead of stayed, and that was not a risk she was willing to take at the moment.

A soft whimper escaped the young femme as the choices seemed to be made for her. She pushed herself back up and sat down. throwing back her head, she howled. The howl meant nothing really, just the sorrow of no longer having her brother and the fear of an unfamiliar land. She should have thought it through before announcing her presence in such a way, but she was still some what confused.

Gold rimmed paws hit the ground as the black and gold Alpha made his way towards where he had heard the howls come from, the thought of new members driving him towards the river. “Where we going Esto?” A small, feminine voice asked from behind his head and he glanced back at her, slowing his pace slightly. “We’re going to meet some other wolves, more friends” He explained with a slight grin and the vixen’s brow furrowed. “More woofies? Will they hurt me?” She asked with a pout and the Alpha shook his head and gave her a reassuring smile. “I won’t let anyone hurt you, Claria, and if they try I’ll kick ‘em out!” She giggled and nuzzled the back of his head as he continued walking, content with the answer he had given her. She felt safe with him, a feeling she hadn’t ever felt with her mother.

Suddenly, a second howl sounded, while this one held no message, it was a sad and fearful song and came from the same general area as the other howl. Luckily though, it didn’t sound as though anyone was being injured. As Estolad approached the area where the wolves were the brute slowed. What if they didn’t like him? The howl wasn’t hostile, but this was his first time meeting with wolves he didn’t know, not only since he became Alpha, but also since he ran away from home. Minus Nit of course, but he hardly counted as ‘scary’, though that ‘monfer’ of his had been pretty frightening at the time. Esto chuckled at the memory of his and Nithron’s first meeting, he had been such a child back then… ‘You’ve grown up so much, Esto, you’re ready for this, you’re ready to be Alpha’ He told himself and took a deep breath, pushing his way through the trees into view of the wolves… Or wolf, that was there.

The only wolf Esto could see at first was a blue, white and gray brute. He was more then twice the size of Estolad, but Esto wouldn’t allow that to stop him. Lifting his head and tail dominantly Esto padded up to the brute and smiled. “Hello, my name is Estolad Undomiel, Alpha of the Lune pack that lives in these lands” He said and dipped his head slightly in greeting. He made sure to leave out the fact that he currently had no members in his pack, for now anyways, until he made sure the brute meant well. Clara peeked out over the top of his head; however she kept quiet as she watched the other wolf shyly. “Were you the one that howled? Vaeril correct?” Esto asked, it was defiantly a brute that had howled, and Venail was a female name, so Esto was assuming this was Vae.

As Esto looked at the brute in front of him and his brow furrowed slightly Vaeril Oronra… Oronra… Where did he know that name from? Suddenly it clicked. “Oh… You don’t happen to be Velossfaeniel Oronra’s son do you? She was in the pack I was born into…” The brute trailed off slightly, remembering his old pack hurt a bit, but at the same time made him happy. He remembered Vel, she was one of the only wolves that had ever paid attention to him, and one of his favorite pack members when he was a pup. He smiled slightly, he didn’t know she had, had a son… A soft giggle escaped the vixen on his back and Esto looked back at her, chuckling softly. “Oh, yes, this is Claria, be nice to her, or I’ll kick you off my land” He said with a soft laugh to show he was joking, though he wasn’t really, he just didn’t want to come across sour when the brute had done nothing to deserve it.

Movement caught the black and gold brute’s attention and he glanced down the river bank, there was a female, her coat was odd in color, black and green, a color combo he had never seen before. She was pretty, but seemed slightly submissive, afraid of them. It was obvious she was not the Venali that had been spoken of, but the female that had made the second howl. “Excuse me” He said softly to the brute he had been speaking to and walked passed him, over to the other fae, however he didn’t come to close to her in fear of scaring her off. “Hello, miss, my name’s Estolad Undomiel, these lands are mine, but if you mean no harm you’re free to stay” He said and smiled reassuringly, he didn’t want her to be afraid, when no one meant any harm. “May I ask your name?

Peeking around the Alpha’s head, bright blue eyes watched the black and green femora for a moment before she hopped off Esto’s back and padded over to the other fae. Stopping right in front of the wolf’s front paws Clara sat down and grinned slightly. “Hi! I’m Claria!” She yipped happily and wagged her tail a little. For some reason, this fae didn’t scare her, she seemed as afraid as Clara always was and the vixen wanted to show her it was alright. “You don’t have to be scared, Esto’s rewwy nice! He got me food and everyfing!” She squeaked. Her speaking needed a bit of work still, but it was obvious she was just young, so it made sense. Chuckling softly Esto smiled. “What she said

Time had passed and Venn had made herself a new best friend. Both females of a different species lied in the ground facing each other, their purple hues reflecting one another’s feelings. Venn had honestly never thought in her life time she’d get along with someone so small, it was unexpected. She didn’t know how to explain it. Was it because she understood her? Because their mother’s had once journeyed together? Or because their eyes matched and a connection seemed to form between them, almost like a spiritual bond. Her violet orbs dimmed for a moment as she thought about something her mother had once told her, a time when she’d told her and her siblings about Myou.

“Everyone has their own power animal, mine had been a fox, and Myou’s a wolf, thus we became each other’s companions, and we had a spiritual connection with one another, so great we did not have to speak to talk to one another.”

At that time, Venn had been confused but now she felt she understood, a part of her still felt confused but she knew if she continued to travel with Yara she would indeed find out more about what her mother had met. This then, made her think. ‘Vyra… Maybe Vae’s power animal is an otter?’ She thought wrinkling her nose slightly, she didn’t like the little otter and as much as she’d hate to admit it the two could form a bond closer than with her and Vae. She couldn’t fathom why she felt jealous, maybe because he was her best friend and knew her well, they’d grown up together she didn’t want anyone to steal him from her. Her chest ached at the thought of her and Vae no longer being as close as they where. She couldn’t understand how her mother had done it with Yoren.

“Venali.”

A soft hushed voice reached her auds, a familiar voice, that of Yara. Her violet orbs turned and met with Yara’s and she smiled. “Yes?” She asked the small arctic fox, she did not mind that the fox called her by her full name instead of Venn like she preferred, in fact she doubt she could get Yara to call her Venn for she was so proper and polite as it seemed. Almost total opposites, yet they had so much in common. Venn couldn’t help but smile, but when Yara’s stern serious look met her gaze, Venn’s smile faded into a frown. “What is it?” She asked again a bit more quite and serious, knowing whatever it was, was indeed serious.

With her body ridged, and ears perked up, the arctic fox was on full alert. “Someone else is here.” She told Venali standing up onto her short stubby legs, her slender form creped around Venali’s as she sniffed the air. Her ears flicked forward. “There.” She told Vanali pointing her nose toward the bushes.

Venali’s eyes traveled in the direction Yara pointed out, her violet orbs narrowed. ‘Someone else?’ Her nose wrinkled and she was on guard now as well. Slowly the white and gray speckled femora crept towards the bush when a sudden howl was heard coming from the bush. The sound although was not threatening, in fact the howl was a sound that was that of someone who was fairly timid and scared, and also sad. Nonetheless, the sudden sound had startled Venn causing her to stumble backwards, she narrowed her eyes at Yara as she snickered at her. When she caught her glare, the small white gray toned fox stopped her snickering. Venali sighed. What to do?

Decided it was best to probably see if this femora was alright, Venali approached the bush cautiously but when a small black and gold brute made his way over from the river Venali stopped. Her orbs traveled back towards Vaeril who still stood with Vyra by the river. Venali’s violet orbs looked to the small brute, her right brow raised ever so slightly. ‘Undomiel.’ She could tell from the coloring of his pelt and his scent which covered this land. She’d never seen this brute before however, likely one of Arwen’s earlier pups who’d wandered off long before Venali came.

Yara followed closely to Venali, not leaving her side, although Venali had not told her, she followed on her own free will. Besides, she knew Venali would want her to stay close to her. The small arctic fox could not explain this connection she felt with the young wolf but she felt the need to stay and watch over her, make sure she stayed out of harms way, and make sure she grow up and would live a happy life. Sure it was a lot for someone as small as her but she felt this strong nurturing instinct towards Venali, although they where the same age(another thing they’d learned while getting to know one another).

Yara’s violet orbs spied the brute as well, however it was the small creature on the brute she was interested in. It was another fox, although different breed than herself and a bit younger, Yara was interested nonetheless. She hadn’t seen any other foxes since she’d left her home. “Venali.” She spoke softly once more to her companion, her orbs traveling up to meet her matching violet hues. “That brute has a fox companion as well.” She pointed out her purple-hues traveling back to the trio close by.

Venali’s orbs once more traveled to where Yara’s where gazing and to her surprise her small friend was right. “Fascinating!” She gaped in anew, what where the chances honestly? Deciding she should introduce herself she walked over to the pair of wolves and single fox, however she was quite surprised to see that she was actually much larger than the two. ‘Really?’ She frowned slightly. “Shouldn’t you be a bit bigger?” She couldn’t help but blurt out to the smaller brute, he was the alpha right? Somehow she always pictured her alpha being larger than her, like Vae.

“Venali!”

Venn’s orbs looked down to meet Yara’s disapproving glare. “What?” She frowned and her frown fell more as she stared into the arctic fox’s orbs, getting where she was hinting at. Her orbs traveled back to Estoland and she smiled sheepishly. “Sorry, um, I’m Venali Almarean… You’re… an Undomiel yes? I recognize the scent, but I’ve not met you before. You are from Arwen--”

“May she rest in peace” Yara piped and Venn frowned ever so slightly but nodded. Maybe she shouldn't have told Yara so much. Nonetheless, the Valasse femme continued.

“Yes, you are from her first litter no? Galadriel and Lathron’s brother?” She said listing the only two elder siblings of Sariya, Arwen and Arcaus she knew. She also knew slightly of Aranel and Vehrion, but she’d never met them before. But this brute, she didn’t know him at all. In fact she didn’t even know Arwen had had more than four pups from her first litter, so this was news to her.

Ron skipped behind his brother and the little fox. He noticed that the sun had risen now, it was officially day so he had no excuse for a nap also the wind had picked up bit gladly it was not raining. Esto told his foxy friend that if any wolves tried to hurt her he would kick them out, he doubted he would just kick them out, he would probably kick their arses too.

He wouldn’t go unaided either, he would protect his brother and those he and Esto loved until death. He didn’t look forward to having to protect someone but was looking forward to the fight, the adrenaline. He just really needed to rid himself of stress and take that anger toward Alagos on someone. Another howl sounded, maybe it was good he was there, esto might feel intimidated being approached by three rouges aided by only a little fox.

The first brute to meet his eye had blue in his coat, it was quite attractive. He sat down next to Esto as he introduced himself and listened, he would rather not take his thunder. It seemed Esto was thinking along the same lines as him when it came to Vaeril, could he be Vel’s Son? There was also a grey and white femme there who he assumed to be Venali. They both had companions, Vae an Otter and Venn a white fox, his ears backed down to his scull, did everyone have companions? He felt quite left out now not having one.

Venn introduced himself as Venali Almarean He concealed a growl, a daughter of Alagos. He would have to speak to her alone at some point, she wouldn’t know Esto was cluless to what her farther had done so he needed to inform her and find out if she condemned his actions or though her father great for what he had done.

Esto’s head turned to look down the river bank, Ron’s eyes followed. It seemed the other that had howled was down there. It was a black and green coated femme, she had a pretty coat too. He was proud of his golden coat but was realising more and more that it wasn’t just him with an awesome coat color. He waited to see her response, once she introduced herself then so would he.

Ty had seemed to wait for ages before she really got a good look around and realized she could see another wolf from here. How had she not seen him before? Make that them… She watched as two more brutes approached the first. Black and gold? She had never seen gold on a wolf before but it made the first quite beautiful. The other, also had gold in his coat, and with the brown and white made him just as beautiful and she realized how small the first really was, especially compared to this second one. Looks, she knew though, could always be deceiving.

She wanted to leave, find unclaimed territory without anyone that could harm her further. She needed to figure out where she was at, and maybe look for her brother. She was about to do just that and tensed to stand up when the gold brutes looked her way.

As she watched them approach her ears flattened against her skull. She shouldn’t have howled, she should have just left. Now she was facing two unknown wolves and possibly another, even though he had not moved to follow the other two.

So he was the Alpha? Taking a deep breath she realized it was his scent that is all over the place. She was about to speak and answer his question when a red furball seemed to detach itself from Estolad and approach her. She watched it for a second before realizing the furball was actually a fox, who didn’t seem to mind talking to a wolf, or introduce herself to a wolf? Doesn’t she know she is food? Apparently Estolad did not know either for he allowed her around plus she said he was nice.

“My name is Tyranea Norretlarn.” She said softly, before starting and backing away as a femme came out of the bushes. Why is everyone so large? At this point Ty was almost completely pressed against the ground and tensed to run.

The new femme, it seemed though, did not know the Alpha or how to be respectful. He was obviously a little small compared to her and the other gold brute but that was no reason to be rude, especially to an Alpha. Ty’s eyes travelled to a spot beside the femme when she heard the small voice. Another fox? Where the wolves around here plant eaters or did they just not eat foxes? To Ty food was food and you got it whenever you could, especially when you are a rogue and hunting was a luxury. You had to always make sure you weren’t on another packs land and when you weren’t the prey was usually scarce.

Ty once more looked down at the young fox that approached her, hoping that the new femme would turn the attention off her herself for a while. Lowering her head, Ty nudged Claria gently with her muzzle. Alright… She had to admit the fox was a little cute. She lifted up one paw and kind of paws at the air beside Claria. She was much too small to play with though. It might have been fun too. Maybe when the fox gets a little bigger they could play? What was she saying? She didn’t even know if she was going to stick around that long.

With the thoughts of playing and how cute this fox was in front of her Ty seemed to untense. Yes she was still scared but not as ready to bolt as she had been. Unlike with her last encounter these new wolves did not seem threatening or aggressive. So far it seemed there would not be a repeat of the earlier event.

Bright blue optics glanced over his shoulder as his brother, Ron, followed him into the group of wolves. He was glad his brother had decided to tag along, he felt safer that way. ‘You shouldn’t be hiding behind your big brother Esto, you need to learn to be an Alpha all on your own’ He told himself and sighed softly, his attention being captured by the quiet wolf by the bank as she introduced herself. “My name is Tyranea Norretlarn” Estolad smiled. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, miss Tyranea, you’re welcome to stay here as long as you like” He said and nodded to her.

It was then that he was distracted by the approach of another femora. This one was defiantly Venali, how could he tell? Because she seemed much more comfortable with the group of wolves… That, and the little white fox had just said her name. He wasn’t really surprised to see the fox, or the otter honestly, despite the fact that before today, he ahd never thought of a companion that was anything other then a wolf… But now, it just seemed normal to him. Smiling slightly Esto watched as the gray toned female approached, however, at her words a frown creased his forehead, bigger? Him?

Flicking his ears slightly, Esto gave a soft chuckle and shook his head. “Size has nothing to do with it, miss, it’s wits, cunning and the ability to keep his pack alive that makes an Alpha” He responded calmly, however the femme’s first impression of him hurt slightly. Yeah, he was small, he always had been small, but no one had, had the nerve to tell him so before. When the small arctic fox called out on Venn’s rudeness, Esto chuckled slightly, he wouldn’t show that what she had said bothered him at all. “It’s alright” He mused as the fae apologized and introduced herself and he nodded slightly. As he’d expected, she was, in fact, the Venali that was mentioned in the howl. “Pleasure to meet you and yes, I am Estolad Undomiel” He said and smiled slightly, sitting down facing the other wolves. However, he quickly regretted it, as it made him look even smaller.

May she rest in peace

The voice of the small creature made Estolad’s ear twitch and he sighed softly, but smiled. “Yes, thank-you” He said and nodded towards the arctic fox. She was quite brave, trotting out into the middle of a group of wolves the way she did, but no one seemed inclined to hurt her, or Clara, who seemed to have noticed this as she wasn’t attached to his side as he had been expecting her to be. “I am from Arwen’s first litter, yes, however I ran away from him when I was just a pup” He said, explaining why he was an unknown to these wolves. Turning his head to look at his brother Esto nodded slightly. “This is my brother, Vehiron Undomiel, also from my mother’s first litter” He introduced the silent golden brute that stood with them.

A giggle reached the gold and black brute’s ears and his head turned to see his little Clara getting nudged by Ty and he smiled slightly, glad that they both seemed to have relaxed a little.

Clara, by this point, had completely forgotten about the other wolves in the area, she was too busy with the female that she had become friends with to care about everyone else. Nipping playfully at the femme’s paw Clara bounced closer to her and pounced on her other paw, gnawing on it. Of course, her teeth were far too small to cause any damage, tickle, maybe, but that was about it. Giggling happily Claria snuggled against Ty’s chest and grinned up at her. “I wike you… Will you stay and play wiff me?” She asked hopefully, her blue eyes shining as she looked up at the fae she had come to like almost as fast as she had Esto. After a moment’s pause, the vixen spoke again. “Can I call you Nea?” She asked, giggling softly as she stared up at Ty.

Estolad smiled as he watched Clara and Ty for a moment before turning his attention back to the other wolves in the area. “If any of you wish to join my pack, you’re welcome to, of course, currently… I have no members and would love to have some company” He paused and smiled, hoping at least one or two of them would consider joining him, but he wasn’t going to make them. “Otherwise, you’re free to come and go on my land as you please, as long as you don’t cause trouble” He said and sighed softly, standing up and flicking his ears slightly. “Would you all like to see the dens? I can show you were it is for future reference, as it’s a bit difficult to find

Time seemed to breeze by as Vae and Vyra were left alone by the river while Venn headed off in search of meal. The company of the otter was oddly comforting and it wasn’t awkward at all, just sitting there with a creature a couple notches below him on the food chain, but it still felt natural. Although the valasse brute was somewhat surprised with the otter’s sudden admiration for him, it didn’t bother him in the slightest; he thought it to be rather cute on the contrary. Turning to gaze at the coal black eyes of the russet hued otter, Vae sighed hesitantly before speaking in his smooth rich voice, “Vyra, Venali and I were just discussing the possibility of joining a pack and I just wanted to make sure that you’d be comfortable around so many other wolves.” The blue and white brute was somewhat doubtful that the young otter would have a problem with it though.

Vyra, whose mood seemed to calm down a bit as the two rested next to the lake, simply just gave the brute an incredulous look with a roll of her eyes before saying in her young voice, “You can’t scare me away just like that Vae Baby.” The young otter noticed the brute’s brow rise at the sound of his new nickname rolling off her tongue like that, but she merely smirked defiantly. “Don’t worry Vae, one of these days you’ll learn what it’s like to feel this way.” Winking, the otter with her stubby legs in comparison to her lengthy body rolled off the brutes back. “What I’m concerned about though is being away from the water for too long. Of course it won’t harm me at all, but I don’t think I’d be so comfortable away from my element for so long you know? How would you feel if you were stuck in the water forever?”

Vae frowned slightly, understanding the otter’s situation. “Yea I get what you mean. I’ll tell you what, if this pack doesn’t have a nearby source of water for you, then I promise we can move on okay?” Regretting the vow the minute it passed through his mouth, his golden gaze nonchalantly glanced towards where Venn had disappeared too. His expression didn’t give away his emotions, but internally, he felt somewhat like a jackass for not discussing it with his best friend before making the promise. Smiling at Vyra, he couldn’t help but keep on a cool façade for her. Although the young brute had just met the creature, he felt a bond quickly forming between them and didn’t want to make her uncomfortable by keeping her away from her natural habitat.

A howl cried from nearby tore both of the wolf’s and the otter’s attention from the slight predicament. Rising to his quads Vaeril found himself naturally hovering over his companion protectively. I don’t believe that it’s the alpha of this land, I’m pretty sure the scent around here is that of a male and the sound of this howl is definitely that of a fae. It’s not Venn… His expression was cool as he waited, his golden hues eyeing the foliage around him for movement. From the corner of his eye he spotted a dark figure nearing them and calmly turned towards it, confidant that it wasn’t the wolf who had just howled, but the alpha of these lands, able to tell so by the way he carried himself. Bowing to show his respect, Vaeril kept his tail down and his stance neutral to show that he wasn’t going to challenge the older brute and was not a threat either. “Yes, that would be me. And I’m pleased to meet you Sir Estolad.”

The brute was not accustomed to speaking like this to others for he generally treated everyone around him as his equal, that is, besides his own mother who he regarded as higher than himself. But he knew that if he wanted to live the life of a pack wolf, this was the way to do it and there was no way around it. When the gold and black brute spoke of Vaeril’s mother, his expression seemed to lighten up, “Yes I am her son actually, you didn’t happen to see her recently have you? We were separated after the earthquake and I was unable to pick up on any fresh scent trails of hers.” Vae had a feeling that his mother was not in the premises, but felt the need to ask for assurance. “But yes, my mother was the gamma female of the Mithril pack. She’s served under your mother for a few years.” It seemed somewhat ironic that he’d also serve under the offspring of the alpha his mother served.

When the brute introduced the young vixen while also adding in the point to treat her kindly, Vaeril nodded before motioning towards the russet and crème otter at his feet, “This is Vyra, and I’m sure she’d appreciate kindness as well.” The brute tried his best to say it with respect towards the alpha while also adding in the point that he wanted the otter to be treated nicely as well. “She’s also quite the skilled fisher so if there’s ever a shortage of prey, I’m sure we’ll be in good paws… or, webbed feet.” He muttered the second part lowly more for himself.

Vaeril watched as the alpha and his fox friend approached the femme who had cried the unsettling howl earlier. He was somewhat worried for the fae seemed skittish and tense, but decided to let the alpha handle her for now so as not to overwhelm her. Turning to a yet another wolf who had arrived on the scene, Vaeril caught the familiar scent of an Undomiel as he approached before he bowed his respect towards him. “I assume your also one of Arwen Undomiel’s sons?” His voice was light and curious before he introduced himself to the golden brute, “I’m Vaeril Oronra, you might know my mother, Velossfaeniel Oronra. She was a member of your mother’s pack.” A higher pitched voice piped up from below Vae, “And I’m Vyra, Vyra Oronra!” Vaeril’s expression seemed to turn blank for a split second before he chuckled.

When the Estolad offered to show the wolves his dens, Vaeril nodded and glanced down at Vyra. It would be a good opportunity to also see if there was any water in or nearby the dens that the otter could spend some time in. Glancing over at Venn, his golden eyes seemed to meet with hers momentarily as if to confirm with her before turning back towards the black and gold brute. “Yes, actually, we we’re considering joining a pack and I think I can get used to it here pretty fast.” Chuckling, the brute twitched slightly as he felt the otter climbing up his tail to get onto his back. “Let’s go let’s go!”

Following shortly after the small alpha brute was a much larger brute, nearly twice the young alpha’s size. He was more golden in color with whites and blacks in his pelt. She thought him to be, well rather attractive looking. Not that she’d ever admit that to anyone, even herself. She watched her approach the group as he said nothing but Estoland introduced him as his brother, Vehiron Undomiel. ‘So this is Vehiron.’ She thought tilting her head slightly as she eyed him, her purple hues met with his green ones. She could see a hidden resentment in his orbs as they stared at each other. Yes, he was an Undomiel and she was an Almarean. She was the first to break the eye contact as she turned her hues back to Estoland. So he was one of Arwen’s previous pups…

Yara stared up at Venali as she seemed to be having a small staring contest with the brute who was introduced by Estoland as Vehiron. Both Undomiel’s, Yara very well knew of the situation this was for them and Yara couldn’t help but feel sorry for both families. It wasn’t a misunderstanding, but very unfortunate. She felt bad for the Undomiel’s for such a thing happening to them, and sorry for the Almareans for having gotten brought down with their father’s unforgivable acts. In Yara’s eyes, Alagos was someone who was unforgivable, however, Venali seemed to love her father despite what he did. The way she spoke so highly and fondly of him, Yara wasn’t sure what to think. As an outsider, she had no say in any of this at all.

Both violet hues of Venali and Yara where turned to the other femme as she introduced herself as Tyranea Norretlarn. ‘What an unusual name.’ Venali thought, but it had a nice ring to it, too many N’s for her liking however. Venn’s eyes traveled to Estoland as he introduced his fox companion and Venali smiled, thinking it was best she introduce Yara was well. “This here is--” She started to say before Yara cut in deciding to introduce herself. “Yara. Yara Almarean.” She said in an even tone as she smiled ever so slightly, nodding to Estoland her eyes side glancing at Venali, wondering what she thought of her new name add on.

‘Yara Almarean.’ Venali thought with a slight smirk and a soft chuckle. It had a ring to it. However the question was did she gain a sister or a daughter just now? She would indeed have to take care of Yara, but something told her she would be more of a sisterly figure for her, since her own sisters weren’t actually that nice, aside for Alassiel. Her purple hues traveled to the small red fox who decided that the black and white femora was now her best friend and proceeded to go and play with her. A small smile formed on Venn’s maw as she watched, she was fairly cute, for some reason foxes just seemed so cute now after meeting Yara. She felt a bit guilty for having eaten fox before. Never again would she eat her friend’s cousins.

Sighing softly, her purple optics where soon turned to the single brute in her life she trusted, with that otter on his back. She wrinkled her nose ever so slightly at the otter who introduced herself as Vyra Orona. Venn huffed slightly and looked up at Vae as his golden hues pierced into her purple ones. She nodded slightly understanding where he was going with this after Estoland had mentioned them staying on his land. Her orbs turned to the small black and golden brute, who now that Venali looked at was actually quite handsome… in that cute little small way.

The tall brute smiled at Tyranea when she spoke her name, he thought that maybe if he was nice to her she would be less afraid. He could tell she didn't feel that comfortable especially as there were so many of them gathered in one area. Claria was doing a far better job at making her feel comfortable than himself and she was probably the better one to do it, he size was probably quite intimidating to one so small. As Esto welcomed her he wondered if she would stay, join Estolad's pack. He would enjoy it if she did, he would like to get to know her better along with the others assembled here.

Vehiron smirked at Esto's response to Venali's jibe on his height. Sure being small had it's downfalls but so did being large. 'The bigger they are the harder they'll fall' he reminded himself thinking back to falling into the den. Before Ron could get to it Esto told everyone who he was, he nodded his head as a greeting to them all, he probably would have just interrupted someone if he had spoken so he would just stay silent.

In the silence he kept he began to eavesdrop on Vae and her otter talk 'Yea I get what you mean. I’ll tell you what, if this pack doesn’t have a nearby source of water for you, then I promise we can move on okay?' He frowned in thought, could they not see down the bank? "There is a water source here little otter, the Dui, It's a river, down there" He pointed with his paw toward the river. Could they not see it? He gave the otter a smile and a nod. He didn't want to cause the otter to dislike him.

He soon found out the names of both the otter and the white fox, Vyra and Yara. He sighed wishing he had a little friend to shout out it's name too. When Esto mentioned the dens he found it hard not to laugh, yes it was defiantly hard to find the dens without falling in, well in his case anyway. "Esto, I, would like to join your pack. Just so you know and all." He said with a smile. His brother could use a large brute around and he wanted to stay near family so this was the perfect solution. "Come on then" He said turning in the direction of the dens.

A small laugh escaped from Ty when the little fox bit at her paw. She nudged the fox again, this time to get her to stop. It tickled! She looked down at Clara when she snuggled against Ty. Stay and play with the little fox? Clara was so small though, she wouldn’t want to hurt her. She smiled anyway and gave a slight nod to her head. “I’ll stay with you, little one.” She said and smiled, cocking her head to the side at the nickname, “Nea?” She asked softly, “I’m usually called Ty but Nea sound s good too.” She gently nipped at Clara’s tail, not aiming to hurt, only to tease.

She looked up at Esto though when he mentions joining his pack. An Alpha without a pack? She supposed she would have to join though, seeing as how she just promised Clara she would stay with her. It has been a while since she has been in a pack though, she’ll have to get used to it once more. She looks over at the brute and otter that seemed eager to check out the place. It seems this Alpha without a pack was soon to have one.

Ty’s only wish, at the moment, was that everyone wasn’t so large and took comfort in the small fact that the Alpha was only slightly bigger then her. She looks over at the other Golden brute that towered over his brother. Vehiron was his name? She was rather thankful he did not attempt to approach her so soon, just as the others hadn’t either. Their size was rather intimidating right now and she did not know how she would react.

Ty then looked over at the other femora that had startled her before. Even she was quite large, towering over Ty and Esto. Why she was so worried about size recently, Ty did not know. She had taken on many a wolf bigger then her before and it never phased her. Oftentimes another rogue would come upon Ty and her brother and challenge them for the kill that they had made. Considering Ty’s size, more often then not the rogue would be larger then her but she would still fight and win. She couldn’t win them all of course, no one could win every fight they are faced with, but she still won quite a few. Thinking on it she feared her skittishness was from the recent encounter with that pack of brutes.

As she was thinking on this she looks at the other femora once more. She has to join…. The choice has been made for me by this little fox. I don’t want to be the only femme. I don’t think I could handle that right now. Ty shook her head, attempting to clear it of unwelcome thoughts, before turning her attention back to Clara. She smiled down at the little fox before using one paw to attempt to roll the little one over. She was going to get Clara back for tickling her.

Estolad’s head turned towards Vaeril as he spoke regarding his question about his last name. As the brute confirmed his suspicion the brute grinned slightly, he didn’t know Vel had, had a son, but he was happy for her, and he seemed like a nice brute. “Well it’s a pleasure to meet you then” He said and flicked his ears black slightly as the brute asked about his mother and Esto shook his head. “No, I’m sorry, I haven’t seen anyone but Ron since the earthquake… Well and you all, of course” He said and gave a small smile. He felt bad that he couldn’t tell the brute that his mother was alright, but Vel was a strong wolf, he was sure she would be alright.

As Vae mentioned that Vyra would appreciate kindness, Esto laughed. “Of course! All of your little friends are welcome, as long as everyone respects each other, I have no issues” He said and shrugged his shoulder slightly, glancing around at the rest of the wolves in the clearing. The thought of wolves actually wanting to join his pack was thrilling, but at the same time rather scary, they were all counting on him to run the pack efficiently, but there was no going back now. Sighing softly Esto took a deep breath and put a smile back on his maw, if he worked on one moment at a time, everything would go well, he knew it would.

As the smaller animals introduced themselves Esto smiled and nodded, glancing behind him at Clara as she continued to play with Ty, he’d already introduced her, though, so it wasn’t that big of a deal. “Pleasure to meet you both, Yara, Vyra, of course, you will both be treated well here, anything you need, don’t be afraid to ask, we might be a little higher on the food chain, but that doesn’t make us any more important” He said with a chuckle and smiled, nodding his head slightly. His pack seemed to be attracting members that weren’t of the canine verity, but that was alright, he honestly didn’t care that much. ‘Let’s just hope the pray stays abundant…

As the idea of joining was brought up, Vae spoke up and Esto grinned slightly. “Of course, you and Vyra, and Venn and Yara are welcome to join the pack, if you wish” He said and smiled, glancing over at Venn, she hadn’t really spoken much, but she seemed alright with Vae’s decision. Ron spoke up next and Esto grinned slightly, so he did want to join as well. “Of course! I’d love to have you around as well, Ron” He said and nuzzled the side of his brother’s head slightly before smiling at the others.

A sudden giggle caught the brute’s attention and his head turned to see Claria getting her stomach tickled by the black and green femora, he was glad at least someone was bothering to connect with the quiet femme. When the other’s agreed to leave Esto gave a slight nod, it was time to head back to the dens. Padding over to the vixen and Ty Esto smiled softly. “We’re heading back to the dens now, you’re free to follow, but I’m afraid Clara will have to come with me” He said and chuckled slightly, carefully picking Claria up and setting her on his back. Giggling, the vixen snuggled into Esto’s back. “Common Nea!” She called to the black and green wolf as Esto started off towards the dens.

As the golden brother of the alpha spoke, pointing towards the river as the water source, Vaeril nodded with a chuckle before adding, “Well, I was hoping there would be one closer to the dens. I don’t know how far the dens are from the river, but hopefully there’s at least a stream or pond nearby where Vyra can get her daily bit of a swim. Of course, I’d bring her out here back to her home quiet often.” The brute offered a smile of reassurance to the russet otter that rested on his back. The little otter honestly was concerned about the situation and didn’t like the idea of having to trek out to the river every day if the dens didn’t have anything. But Vyra had hope that there would be something suitable for her to swim in at least.

The alpha brute’s response to Vae’s inquiries as to his mother, the valasse merely clicked his tongue once and nodded. “Thanks though Esto. I’m sure my mom’s fine.” Vaeril turned a bit to gaze out towards the unclaimed lands, where he had just come from. One of these days I’m just going to have to head out and look for her. I’ll be sure to keep my eyes, ears, and nose open for any signs of her though. “If your mother’s anything like you Vae, I’m sure she’s just hanging around here somewhere, safe and sound.” Vaeril felt the otter gently nuzzle the back of his neck from where she rested on his back. The brute chuckled, “Thank you too Vyra, it means a lot.”

Glancing back at Venn once more, Vaeril could read the objection the femme held towards the valasse’s new friend, but Vaeril wasn’t about to leave the poor otter or break her dear little heart. Vae knew that Venn wouldn’t let the little otter get to her head; at least not too much. If the otter did become a pest to the fae, Vaeril would have to give her warning though, as much as he would prefer not to. Venn was his best friend and would be willing to take a chink his relationship with the otter for the sake of their own.

It was then that Vaeril noticed the black and green femme’s discomfort with the sudden arrival of so many wolves and he also noted how himself, Venn, and Ron seemed to tower over the fae. He could almost feel the fae’s uneasiness radiating off of her but could also read it from her body language. The valasse opted not to approach the fae, but would introduce himself from where he stood. “Hello, I’m Vaeril Oronra. You can just call me Vae.” The voice of the otter atop his back piped up, although the creature was hidden from the black and green wolf’s sight, “and I’m Vyra!”

At the sound of Esto’s voice, Vaeril turned his attention back towards the alpha. They’d be heading off to the dens now. Vaeril was somewhat excited about this, actually looking forward to quick rest after settling in and familiarizing himself with the place. Yawning, the brute padded up beside Venn and nudged her gently, “Ready?” Padding off after the alpha, he made sure not to go too far ahead of Venn.

After Vaeril told Estoland of their joining, his brother, Vehiron decided he too would announce his joining of the older brute’s pack as well. ‘So, I’ll be in the same pack as him too.’ She thought, wondering how well that would play out based on their backgrounds. Venn sighed and for a moment wished she had a different last name. Perhaps Vae’s last name? Venali Orona. Venn’s eyes widen at the thought and felt the skin under her cheeks heat up and she shook her head. Almarean, was perfectly fine. She liked her last name and wore it proudly. Sometimes anyways.

Her purple hues turned to the golden brute who stood a good few inches taller than her. His emerald hues where very attractive, she’d seen others with green hues but his where very dark, and rich color. His coat was nothing to shake a tail at either, but that golden color ran in most of the Undomiel’s first litter. The brute’s anyways, Lathron, Vehiron and finally Estoland. All three where very attractive young males, any femme would be lucky to have their pups. A femme she wouldn’t ever be. Almarean and Undomiel, their bloods would never mix.

Venn’s black lips twitched slightly as they turned downwards into a slight frown. What was with this all of a sudden? It’s not like she wanted a brute in her life, none other than Vaeril anyways. She was all the brute she needed. He was her best friend, he understood her, something no one else besides Yara would do. Specially someone like Vehiron, an Undomiel. He wouldn’t give her a second glace because she was an Almarean. Because of what her father had done. She was sure by now rumors had spread across the land and most knew of her father, Alagos Almarean. Her chances in finding a good mate where slim to none. A soft sigh escaped her maw.

“Venali, is something bothering you?” Yara piped up quietly as she peered up at her friend’s larger form. Venn’s eyes met with Yara’s and although a false smile was placed on her lips and she shook it off. Yara knew something was bothering her. ‘I shall ask her about it later.’ The young female fox thought, figuring the young femora would not want to express her inner feelings and desires aloud for everyone to hear. If she wanted to tell her, they would be for her ears and hers only.

Venn’s purple hues traveled to Ty, the only other femora in the pack besides herself. Not that she mind. She figured she would get along better with the brutes of the pack. Well, so far only Vae, being the other brutes where Undomiel’s. Maybe staying in this pack was not such a good idea. ‘Damnit…’ She snarled to herself mentally. She would much prefer to stay in the colder regions. Lexath Nidersa and Arwen Undomiel owned the other two colder regions. Maybe living in Lexath’s pack would be the smarter choice, she knew for definitely she could never join Arwen’s pack. It would be like staring into the eyes of the dead. She heard she looked so much like her mother… Arwen, the Arwen her father killed.

A chilling tremble shuddered down the young femora’s back at the thought. She loved her father dearly but… ‘He’s a murderer.’ The thought pained her, she couldn’t see how such a kind, gentle, loving brute like her father could be a killer. Maybe, multi-personalities? It was only logical to the young femora, besides that, nothing else seemed to fit.

The young femora was brought out of her thoughts when she felt Yara’s small cold nose on her ankle. She peered down at the small arctic fox, her sad violet hues told her she was worried. Venn smiled, reassuring her friend when her attention was turned to Estoland as he spoke her name. He had accepted them into his pack. Venn felt oddly happy and excited. Her tail wagged ever so slightly behind her and a smile graced her lips. ‘Even when we are opposites, he accepted me into his family anyways.’ She felt, enternal grateful to Estoland and although the thought of being under someone’s command besides her own and Vaeril’s, whom she listened to out of kindness ‘cause he was her friend, irked her. Let alone, under the commands of a brute, ‘Though, best a brute, than a femme.’ She thought wrinkling her nose. Another reason she could not be in Arwen’s pack, or Lexath’s. It was rumored, Lexath’s daughter, Lairiel would resume the position of alpha when him and his mate, Uruviel stepped down.

Yara smiled as she stared up at Venali who seemed happier suddenly opposed to her somber look a few minutes ago. Perhaps because she had been accepted into the young brute’s pack. Yes, it had to be it. Yara didn’t understand the concept of a pack really, but she knew for a wolf, being in one was a big deal. It upped their survival rate, and extended their life line. Venn was not exception to the fact of being a wolf. Although, Yara, Clara, and Vyra where. It would be interesting to see how the pack functioned with three additional pack members who where non-wolves. Yara knew it would be highly beneficial to them, food, shelter and protection wise. But how much could they provide for the wolves she wondered?

As Estoland wrapped everything up between the wolves around him and himself. He announced it was time to head back to the dens. Venn found this awfully inviting. A long nap, and some food sounded nice. She hadn’t rested since the earthquake, and knew they would probably go out to explore some more after they rested. Her hues turned to Vae as he approached her and gently touched her side, she smiled at the jester and nodded. Following her friend closely as they headed back towards the dens she mentioned to him about possibly searching for his mother once they where well rested and well fed and made idle talk with him, Yara and Vyra. Their duo had turned into a quad.
